Thangalaan (translated as The Son of Gold) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language historical fantasy action film directed by Pa. Ranjith. The story revolves around Thangalaan, a formidable tribal leader during the British Raj, who clashes with Aarathi, a presumed sorceress, after provoking her wrath while helping British General Lord Clement search for gold in their village.

The film features Vikram in the lead role, with Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Daniel Caltagirone, Hari Krishnan Anbudurai, Vettai Muthukumar, Krish Hassan, Arjun Anbudan, and Sampath Ram in supporting roles.
